The rural population of India, comprising about 70 per cent of the countryís total population with a higher level of physical fitness, physiological and morphological status with respect to the others, seem to be a pillar of strength in the Countryís sports arena.

Introducing sorts is not only about increasing productivity and income. It is about increasing productivity and income. It is about enabling people to have a broad sence of well-being and opportunities to express and make choices about their lives. Being poor meanings inability to negotiate, bargain, and get paid. Poverty, in a nutshell, is kind of decline in social connectedness. So thatís why social solidarity and cultural indentity are so relevant to sports and social development. By introducing several schemes to tap the hidden talents.

NCSYD providing coaching in various sports and games such as football, kabadi, cricket, kho-kho etc., to as many as rural students.

The NCSYD has been highlighting the important of culture skill and imparting them to rural children especially belonging to Dalitis, Tribes and poor communities who earlier never had such an exposure and opportunities. As many grass-root level sports trained coaches (certified by NCSYD INDIA) has been send by NCSYD for promotion of sports in rural area.

The special sports and fitness camps had taken up with jointly by sports organization and others. NCSYD has taking continuous effort to empower youth in rural areas by offering them sports coaching development opportunities.
